About the collection
In The In Between is an ongoing body of work by British textile artist Lizzi Mann that explores the ritualistic practice of hand weaving. With an emphasis on the process, as much as the finished artwork, the work considers what can be brought into awareness and reflected on through a meditative creative practice, observing the spaces in between and the yarns suspended between warp threads. The collection features eleven original pieces of different scales woven in cotton, linen and flax fibre.
