Lizzi Mann (1990) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bristol, England. They fuse traditional craftsmanship with modern design and focus on the ritual of making. With a practice spanning textiles, printmaking and painting, they create intuitive works experiencing how forms and materials transform through somatic processes. They draw on the parallels of tension and harmony through their textile works. The meditative practice of weaving allows for a time of reflection for the artist. With each passing of the weft or threading of a needle they make a deeper connection to the material and therefore a deeper understanding and appreciation of its natural origins.
