Presented float mounted in a bespoke hand-stained black ash wood frame with specialist anti-reflective glass including 92% UV protection to ensure the archival qualities and depth of colour are maintained. 

"My Tafla Optics works on paper make up a series of expansive, large scale geometric watercolour paintings. I approach these compositions like making a piece of music, searching for different atmospheres and structures within the painting.

Simply made with repetitive brushstrokes, subtle variations of touch and pigment allow the structure to weave between each other creating areas of intensity and calm. I like to think about the applied colour in terms of luminosity, to make light dance across the surface of the painting."
