Framing notes:

Framed works are presented float mounted on white mountboard into a choice of waxed cherry or hand-finished tulipwood (available in lime wash, white, dark brown or black — we are very happy to hold up samples to help you determine which finish works best), or float mounted onto white maple into a bespoke white maple wood frame.  All options are framed with specialist anti-reflective glass as standard, including 70% UV protection to ensure the depth of colour and archival qualities are maintained.

Higher grades of specialist glass (92% UV or Museum Grade 99% UV protection) are available at an additional cost and are recommended if positioning the artwork in a sunny location. Please contact us if you would like to discuss any of these options in further detail, and we will be happy to assist.

“The hand series is an ever-growing collection of prints. They are all titled Ofrenda and the numbers that follow allude to when they were created, this will keep growing as I add new editions. ‘Ofrenda’ means ‘offering’ in Spanish. In each print we can see a hand handing over an object. It’s a loose representation of connection. A tender moment of handing over something dear to us. Presenting something to someone else. The objects are always sculptures I make in plaster or jesmonite. Of course their meaning is fluid and it represents whatever it is the viewer sees in them, maybe in a literal sense the sculptures could portray a physical object but also in a more abstract manner they may embody concept.”
