"In this exclusive series of glass paintings, Amy created each piece spontaneously by layering and building colour across multiple firing cycles. The compositions were developed as a collection to complement one another whilst being strong enough to hang alone.
Colour sequence and placement were critical to achieving an unusual palette that offers both contrast and harmony. Across the softer palette of the Blush series to the contrasting darker palette in her Charcoal series, Amy's intention was for each colour way to speak slightly a different language whilst retaining a connection with the collection as a whole."
