"Scarification was made during lockdown. It was made at a time when I became a bit obsessive about repetition and has a somewhat claustrophobic feel to the closeness of the stitching, I think subconsciously it helped me ground myself during the time of the pandemic, absorbed my thoughts in the repetition of the work which seemed like a never ending task. "
